Parker is such a mental midget.
Agreed with Jag, tbh..
I'm a big Parker fan and I've always defended him here, but he's acting like Kobe by using injuries as an excuse, tbh..I'm also tired of his flopping in this series, he looks like Kevin Martin out there at times with the head whips, tbh..
Spurs need to just play and focus on the task, tbh..
Parker is such a mental midget.
You're also the same guy that said Harrison Barnes is better than Kawhi and that the Nuggets were a legit contender, tbh..
Parker loves attention, hence the heroball, always saying the media doesn't notice him compared to other PGs etc per par. Still, I hope we can manage thru this. We're too close to the end, gotta hope the team can overcome this.
And?...I said the Nuggets were a threat, they're athletic & young, I said that before Gallo got injured & Barnes is better then Kawhi, he has a much more complete offensive game. Kawhi's defense & rebounding tho exceed Barnes'.
I must say you're the last guy who should be taking shots at anyone's basketball takes, tbh.
lol "heat winning 3 in a row against pacers"
lol calling Harrison Barnes "limited" despite his breakout post season.
Maybe he is trying to use this to get sympathy from the MVP voters so they'll pick him over Green if we win... Just sayin'.
The worrying thing is that even if Parker plays better in game 5 due to the extra day of rest, he's likely going to play as badly in games 6 and 7 as he did in game 4.
The bad thing is he's clearly gonna b limited that means more reliance on manu
No news there...
and WTF??? spursfans?!?
Parker just answered in a "candid" way as he always does! He isn't complaining, just saying this the way they are...
I hope these are just trolls..
I wonder if Pop will try to play Tony only 10-12 minutes in the first half to save his energy for the second half? Tony has said that he was fatigued in the second half of game 4.
We can't allow ourselves to play him 10-12min...
Cojo too unexperienced and Manu... well Manu...
I'm having a hard time trying not to believe it's over.

The main picture here is that the risk of a tear goes lower by the day, meaning he had a bigger risk on Thursday, when he came out not feeling worse, than he would coming into tomorrow's game. He just has to pace himself out there and he'll be fine.
In the second half of Game 4, it appeared that Parker forgot he had teammates on the perimeter that were wide open. He made his usual forays into the paint only to get knocked on his ass, without the benefit of a foul call. It's almost like he was doing to much to try and prove something. He needs to continue making plays for others when the defense gears up to shut down the paint.
Yea I had similar thoughts... you figure the Heat would respond strongly to the loss and maybe think that game 4 was inevitably going to the Heat, so resting Parker to be stronger for games 5 6 and maybe 7 would have been the.... Most Strategic Move to be made
BUT.
If you play Parker and win game 4... you have a 3-1 lead and that is commanding historically.
And going into halftime the gamble seemed to be paying off.
But the Spurs didn't have enough to withstand Miami's will, especially with the turnovers and a on fire Determined Dwayne Wade.
media hype??... trying to get sympathy from officials??
parker always been a cry baby, tbh
Tony need to borrow a page from the Kobester and have one of his publicists say it, so he doesn't come across as making excuses...
If you watched the interview, he doesn't come across as making excuses at all. In fact, it sounds like the opposite. He mentioned the possibility of tearing when a stupid reporter asked him if in retrospect he should have sat out the last game. He just said, no two extra days of rest aren't going to make any difference (it would take at least 10 days rest to matter), it can tear any time, and if it tears, oh well.
isnt this common sense
no need to point it out to the media
just sounds like whining
You know it's the NBA Finals when quotes are taken out of context to create 228,235 stories that would otherwise be non-issues.
does this guy know how to party or what?
Yeah, I figured a lot of these 'stories' are coming from some question they've been asked, and then it gets embellished into a full blown story...
so...
He needs to shut the
