It was a great season... it was a great run I never thought they would've got so far
Congrats to the Heat. Proud to be a Spurs Fan! They fought to the bitter end. Stay classy
It was a great season... it was a great run I never thought they would've got so far
Never thought I'd be cheering this team in June. Losing in the waning moments of a game 7 is no shame. It was a team outspent by millions and came within 8 points of a le.
No more games for me. I'm finished.
Honestly, that's the best we could have hoped for under the cir stances. No way they could win after Game 6.
Nothing but agony, pain and regret for this season. I just want to forget 2013 ever happened tbh...
WE ARE THE BETTER TEAM. WE ARE THE TRUE CHAMPIONS. MIAMI HAS LOST.
I am seriously bawling right now.![]()
I'm heartbroken right now but I love the Spurs and always will.
My feelings too. 5 years ago this absolutely would have devastated me. At this point in my life, as tough as the last two games were to watch, even in this moment, I'm still able to recall all the fun and pleasure I derived from watching this Spurs' run. Tough, ing tough night....'bout all I feel like typing.
The other guys just had a little bit more tonight. Hat's off to LeBron.
Thanks for the good times, Spurs.
Great run! Way mroe than expected and even almost won it all.
Thanks for another great season Spurs. Now I'm out to get wasted, so glad tomorrow is not a working day here.
The Spurs had a great season. I didn't think they could get this close to winning it all.
Congrats Miami.I'm going down with the ship, GSG
Thanks for everything Spurs. Sorry it had to go down this way.
But it was a tremendous season.
One of a season... proud of my guys... it was always a longshot... the reason it looked closer if because this team has balls of steel...
I'll say this will hurt forever. That game 6, we had it
Thank you spurs. I'm heartbreaked right now. With weeks I'll fully appreciate what they have done this year. Right now I just want to hide from the world.
Spurs ed up, plain and simple. They choked in Game 6 and they choked in Game 7. They gave all they got and left nothing for the end of games, Tony Parker, the supposed "MVP" during the whole run to the Finals wasn't even good enough to be on the floor during crunch time in both games, that was a pathetic display of basketball by the San Antonio Spurs. From turning the ball over to taking the stupidest shots imaginable. I respect the Heat and I think Lebron cemented his legacy with the way he played but the Spurs had the chance and ed it up big time. I don't know how to bounce back from this.
A week from now, I'll look back and admit that the Spurs overachieved by a lot. But right now I can't stop being angry at the two amigos and Pop.
LeBron James in his prime scrapes by to beat 57 year old Tim Duncan.
Yep. I loved it. So proud of my Spurs right now. Wish the outcome were different, but I love them.
Getting to the Finals, and having a chance to win, would probably be considered over-achieving by most.
But to GIVE AWAY the championship in game 6 is the most pathetic playoff defeat I can think of. Not even close.
So yeah, thanks for the ride, but no thanks for driving off the bridge.
