And Nick was a shooting guard

Another that choked a 3-0 series lead :
NHL EC semis : the Boston Bruins had a 3-0 series lead vs the Philadelphia Flyers
The Flyers forced a game 7
Game 7 was played in Boston; the Bruins had 3-0 lead in that game
Lost the game 4-3 and the series

Quick trivia question (don't google it): Who sank the tying 3 to force OT?
The Jet, I believe.
I don't remember that series too well since I tuned out everything that had to with basketball after Hakeem annihilated David Robinson.
Kenny Smith
Kenny Smith?
LOL @ Orlando's response to the Nick Anderson game.
Not sure if he deserves to start at SG over Joe Table on my team though; though call.
John Starks and Reggie Miller are knocking on the door...
Some more honorable mentions:
Alex Gonzalez (former Cubs SS)
Brian Sipe
Gary Andersen
Brett Favre
Honorable mention coach: Bill Callahan
Changes the Raiders smash mouth gameplan for the '02 Superbowl a day before game, telling the team they're going to throw it 60 times against the best pass defense in the league, coached by the guy who knows that offense inside and out.
If you haven't seen it, check this out:
I've seen that...seems almost Boutons-ish, but I wouldn't doubt that it was Callahan's gameplan change that sent Barret Robbins into panic
Of course, Robbins was already a little ed in the head. Anybody remember the name of that Bengals RB who smoked crack and didn't show up to the SB?![]()
When I first saw it, I thought it might've been a case of Tim Brown having a case of sour grapes, but then when Jerry Rice corroborated his testimonial, I believed.
I don't think it was Callahan's intention to hand "his friend" Jon Gruden a ring and spite the Raiders, but a case of him being an idiot. I'm no football expert like most on the forum, but even I knew it was a re ed idea to throw 60 times against one of the greatest pass defenses ever, against the coach who built the offense and mentored Rich Gannon.
Coach Avery in 2007 has to sneak in there somewhere...
parker needs to be on that fkn lists, same fkn from day 1, chuck a big wing defender and he disappears...
this time he had no backup pg to bail him out as usual...
Byner actually played really well that day (187 total yards, 2 touchdowns.) He just didn't take very good care of the football as a general rule. He cost the Browns a game against the Colts earlier that season with a fumble inside the five-yard line.
Stanley Wilson.
