If it's a 1 year deal or maybe two then why not? Anything longer than 2 years, I say no.

the reward comes with equivalent risk imho. it's gonna be a venturous investment no matter which team ends up getting him, or how many years you sign him to. If we could make a deal with Houston I'd rather take Asik in town than gamble on Drew.

I used to think we needed a big with good offensive game to accompany dirk, but the 11' TC proved me wrong. Defense is the only thing Dirk needs from the C and Asik (or Dalembert) would give you just that imho.

at this point, as a mavs fan, all you can do is sit back and watch the train wreck. Hopefully Cuban's ego is sufficiently torn down by the end of this offseason.
