Maybe not...
Jennings is quite interested in playing im LA, it would be no surprise his departure would be discussed. I am quite interested how a back court of Jennings/Bryant/Young would work with less than 8 basketballs in play.
It's not possible to sign him, most we can offer him is a million.. Unless the the teacher figures something out. Shipping out Steve Blake somehow to get him is the only option, but who the wants Steve Blake anyways?
I'm shocked there's people who actually think Jennings is a star and the Lakers would be getting one of their usual rigged trades here.... he's a no-shame chucker, a waste of talent, and a locker room cancer....
Fish knew when and where Kobe was gonna turn it over, so he stole the damn ball with ease.
lakers are gna trade for brandon jennings then make their splash next offseason when they sign rudy gay to a max deal![]()
Horrible trade for the bucks. Jennings would be a improvement over Blake for sure.
I'd be an improvement over Blake most likely.
Jennings, Kobe and Nick young. Would be up there the worst trio in the league along with the Iverson, Melo and JR Smith and Jamison, Larry Hughes and Jason Rirhardson trio.
But, if it worked and we won the Battle of Los Angeles then stopped off at the Alamo and made like Santa and his Ana, then continued on to the land of Martin & Zimmerman and made LeBron consume own sandwich then, then, then the Ellis girl would have nary choice but come down here and show us that money maker.
iirc tax-paying teams cannot receieve a signed-and-traded player, so if Jennings really wants to be a Laker, he would have to take the minimum salary.
Kobe might literally murder Jennings on the court if this happens.
And the way Jennings's shot selection has looked like to date, it'd be justifiable homicide.
