Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert shocked the sports world Monday morning when he announced that on top of throwing NFL passes, he likes throwing it in guys’ asses.
At a press conference held outside of The Boot Rack Saloon, the former top-ten draft pick broke the news to a handful of reporters, saying, ”It’s been a really difficult struggle for me these last two years having to take the field with my teammates and knowing deep down in my heart that I have absolutely no talent. Plus, I’m gay.”
Veteran Jaguars center Brad Meester told reporters that Gabbert’s announcement explained a lot.
“I remember in training camp two years ago, Blaine came up to the line behind me and tried to take the snap with his penis instead of his hands, and I just thought it was a rookie mistake,” the 14-year pro out of Northern Iowa said. “I just told him, ‘Hey, we don’t do that at this level,’ and we worked on snapping the ball into his hands instead. But now that he says he’s gay, well, I feel like the rookie.”
All eyes will be on Jacksonville to see how the league, team, and fans react to this stunning news. Jaguars beat writer Ryan O’Halloran told The DUD that he thinks the league will wait to throw their support behind a gay athlete who, unlike Gabbert, will still be in the league next year.
Asked whether or not he was shocked by Gabbert’s announcement, Jack Goff, five-time champion of the “Bros Before Hos” fantasy football league out Waukesha, Wisconsin, told us that he’s not surprised by the Gabbert news.
“I mean, a 58% completion rate last year, only 9 touchdowns to 6 picks, and a QB rating of 77.4 is a pretty gay stat line,” Goff said from his resident stool at Sporties. “Plus, he plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars. It doesn’t get any gayer than that.”
Gabbert told reporters that he’ll probably write a book about his struggles both on and off the field because he feels that “gay people read a lot.”![]()
