I'm a diehard Spurs fan, I'm not a troll. I'm just being honest and objective. I'll admit that sometimes I go overboard with the name calling but I’m just a very passionate Spurs fan. Some people really deserve the name calling tbh. Some people say that I'm delusional because I believe the things I say; well I think the exact same thing of Spurs homers.
Spurs homers have no idea how ridiculous they look in the eyes of a non-biased Spurs fan. You all have blind homerism that think the FO is the best in the world, Pop is the greatest coach of all time, and Manu is a God when all are byproducts of Tim Duncan. Spurs organization hit the jackpot when they drafted Tim Duncan. Thanks to Tim Duncan, the Spurs FO is overrated. Thanks to Tim Duncan, Gregg Popovich has developed and ego and become one of the most stubborn coaches in the NBA. Thanks to Tim Duncan, Manu is a future Hall of Famer.
To those that say I'm just a Tim Duncan fan and not a Spurs fan, well you guys are wrong. Is it possible to be a diehard Spurs fan like myself while being a diehard Tim Duncan fan? Of course, I mean if the Spurs do well, then so does Timmy. I was a Tim Duncan fan before I became a Spurs fan and there is no crime in that. Your own moderator Kori Ellis was/is a Tim Duncan fan. Don't believe me? Check this out:
I mentioned this in another thread (
http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/show...76#post6784376) but I’ll say it again. I used to love Manu Ginobili. I used to be a Spurs homer like most of you. The Game 6 heartbreaking loss removed the Spurs goggles off my yes. I guess this loss really hurt because it was the closest we’ve been to winning a championship in six years. This championship would of probably enhanced Tim Duncan’s legacy and given him his 4th NBA Finals MVP.
BTW, a lot of you Spurs homers probably got butt hurt in 2011 when Charles Barkley made a bold prediction and picked the Grizzlies to upset the Spurs. Why was he right? He was being objective and non-biased.
