whatever team gets him will not be the team that was stupid enough to pass up durant for him
Oden is a tremendous talent. I hope he can be healthy for a few years. He's one of the strongest players I've ever seen.

I feel bad for the Blazers with that whole situation. It's one thing to be a bust, but to have that much talent and be derailed by injuries just sucks.
tru spurs dont want injured players on da team
Don't you remember? There was time when he he actually finished a game. It was masterful how he negotiated his body through 48 minutes and actually came out of it with just a few aches and pains. If I'm not mistaken, he was so pleased with himself that he snapped a picture of his dong for someone.
Remember when the Blazers could have gotten Durant?
I never said I wanted him injured. I'm just taking a guess that it would just so happen that he does get injured. Again, I'm not wanting this to happen.
No, the one who wanted him injured was "thegreatyacht".

LMFAO I wouldn't want him to get injured, regardless. I'm just saying, it would be our luck.
Wait, you want him to get injured? That's messed up man.
We should hear something pretty soon if he really is going to make up his mind today.
It doesn't matter what kind of guy Oden is, if he wants to win now, etc...it's the commitment by him to remain healthy and in shape. He failed miserably in Portland with that, and Portland finally had to cut it's losses and move forward. Personally, without some more surgeries down the road, he'll be lucky to be walking without assistance before he's 40.
to be fair with him, If you have naturally bum knees, you got bum knees. Not much you can do about it. If I were him, i would go to phoenix.
played ball with him at osu and writes for espn
We all know it's gonna be the Heat.
If they are waiting to see what his price tag is then doesn't that rule out all those teams that can only offer the vet min which is pretty much an already set figure?
For sure it isn't the Spurs because one of our insiders would have told us by now!
Before I posted that, I had read it wrong, I thought it said 'waiting on what HIS price tag is' but re-reading it, I think he was jokingly saying 'MY' pricetag. So not sure that's the reasoning.
Sounds like it's Dallas. Reported in the other thread.![]()
If he were coming here we would have heard on the news that the Spurs were getting ready to make an announcement.
