7 guards ain't too many for a 15-man roster imho. you can play 3 guards on the court at once along with 2 bigs. You have 7 guards but only one SF so the total number of guys playing spot 1-3 stays at 8, and a 8-7 ratio of outside players vs. inside doesn't look beyond normal in today's NBA imho.

I guess the Spurs are just giving up on the idea of actually having a team with players who play a position other than GUARD.

While I'm not on the Cojo bandwagon, I don't know about BB, feels like they could have gotten someone better earlier if they made it a priority...
Spurs rumored interest in Bobby Brown could be an indication to Patty Mills that perhaps they are unwilling to "Rock Witcha".
At this point there really is no one out there worth getting that will make an impact on the upcoming season.
And any trade would seriously weaken the team IMHO.
It is what it is, we have to be happy with what we got and hope for the best.
Because no free agent of any consequence, that is who could actually make a difference, wants to come here.
That was made pretty apparent by Kirilenko and Oden! They both either took less money or less career enhancements to go somewhere else!
