whoooa i love robocop too but its not in the same class as goodfellas or cwo. its a cult classic in the same vein as the goonies or the lost boys. both movies are fine for remakes if done well and this trailer looks pretty damn good.
Goodfellas is an all time top 10, Clockwork Orange top 20ish. Robocop is a "fun time piece" kinda movie

Sucks PG13 is the standard now. Remember back in the day all the good movies was rated R ad there was guaranteed to be some ties in it.PG 13

This Robocop remake should be called RoboPussy. The guy is emo and the suit sucks ass. Robocop can't run, damn it. And you can't see skin on his hands because they're covered with gloves.
Movie looks like dog . PG-13 to R is a ing travesty. Did they not already show him "dying" before becoming Robocop?
The February release date is a bad sign too. If there was any chance this movie was good, the studio would probably stick it closer to summer to give it a bigger audience. They know it blows so they're dumping it in February so that it's only compe ion in theaters are ty Katherine Heigl/Jen Aniston rom-coms.
Ouch, missed that part about the release date. That puts a pretty big e in any hope I had about potentially redeeming qualities being hidden in there.

Pretty decent. Not better than the original obviously and not the exact same storyline, but did it's own thing.

Not as good because the death scene in the first one was obviously more brutal, and you wanted those assholes dead. Keaton does a good job though. In this one, more focus was on Omnicorp.
Was dumb, of course, but not a horrible way to spend a couple of hours.
Kept wishing for a casting change, though. Can't help thinking Robomar would have made a more interesting movie than Roboring White Guy.

CF's resolution this year is to see one movie per week in the theater. There are undoubtedly going to be some dogs along the way.
