Not entirely sure but I think the monthly option is just breaking the one time payment down into smaller amounts but it still is a years subscription.
If I pay by a monthly subscription can I cancel it at any time?

Got it monthly via an Indian proxy. Working fine in New Zealand with no proxy needed to access for me. 9 US / month
Not happy with the price increase.. but tbh they could charge $1000 a year i would still probably buy it. Too hard to go without.
its bs how we ilp users pay 300 bucks (AUD) for premium when us pays 180-200?
Then use a proxy to sign up and save hundreds...
whats your setup and is it a hassle to get it working? speeds/performance?
Internet in New Zealand is pretty crappy so can't stream in HD, but does probably about 480p at a guess. I think my speed is about 8Mbps down and 1Mbps up.
Just used Firefox, got and Indian proxy off http://hidemyass.com/proxy-list/, went to watch.nba.com/nba/subscribe, signed in with my pre-existing account. Chose the monthly payment option for regular ILP ($10US/mnth), then used the 10% off code from earlier in this thread to bring it to $9US/mnth. Put in my NZ VISA debit card information with an NZ address, complete signup.
$9US (~NZ$11) was paid from my debit card, and then I went onto Chrome (no proxy) and signed into my account and have been able to stream live preseason games from today as well as previous preseason games from this season.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
sent u a pm
Unlike last year, I only watched Spurs games (follow your team only). They don't have this option anymore. Still hesitant to sign up right now. They may suddenly put it back.
Usually league pass just plays the home teams broadcast. Home and away feature gives you the option to listen to bill land yell "oh mama!" and sean ****** complain about what he would have done better when the spurs play away as opposed to kings commentators ting on parker, utah being bitter about karl malone not being the the best power forward or clyde drexlers bull in general, etc.
Yeah choosing the broadcast is a good feature.. some announcers make games unwatchable.
I don't mind other feeds, I get a tad sick of oh mama and seans homerism. They're fine for 40 games but I don't want them for 80.
Shhh. Don't let them know.
I just signed.
I got an email that says the discount end tomorrow
Was anybody else able to change announcers? Didn't even see an option for it.
Only an option with premium which I don't have so can't say.
im guessing home and away broadcast option can only be accessed from the star of RS?
Yep, definitely won't be for preseason games. It says it's for regular season games, which is much better than nothing I guess. I'm pretty sure the NFL broadband has it for the playoffs too, so it kind of sucks if it's only for the regular season. Do team broadcasters cover all the playoff games?
Not entirely sure but i think fssw covers the entire POs except the finals
I'm in a weird situation where I am in the U.S. for 2 months before returning to Ukraine. I was hoping to buy ILP, but I won't be able to access it in the U.S. I don't really want to miss the first 2 months of the season, but on the other hand, I don't really want to buy both the US League Pass and ILP. Anyone more experienced at this have any recommendations on getting a form of League Pass you can use both in the U.S. and outside it? I travel a lot.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Bill
Bill;
you have options to have an international IP while in the US. Foxy Broxy, unblocka among others. That way, you can buy your one ILP licence sot hat when you get back to Ukraine you don't have to buy anything again.
Paka Paka.
Not really a ILP question, but does anyone use the broadband LP? I live in a giant hole and my cable provider doesn't offer LP. I was thinking just get BLP and connect my Ipad to my TV. Anyone else do the same?
I did this last year and it worked out great - I'm doing it again this year. It's cheaper than regular LP, and it frees up the TV by giving me the option of just watching on my iPad or laptop if my wife wants to watch something besides basketball.
As long as you have a decent internet connection the picture is basically HD. However, it seems to works better on my iPad with the NBA Gametime app than it does streaming from my laptop.
Im not sure about the quality, shouldnt be too bad but dont expect it to be league pass from a cable provider. As far as performance go, you shouldn't have any troubles with lag/buffering, how are you connecting to your TV? Apple TV is a good option if you have it. Otherwise next best thing is run LP on a laptop and connect it to your tv via hdmi
