While I agree that the Spurs will make the Finals, I hope that the writer of the article isn't actually getting paid to write such a poor piece, tbh..
It was proven in last year final that SPURS need another go-to player and SPURS did nothing to address this gap (I have already counted KL as a go-to player). Unless Splitter suddenly plays like an all-star or SPURS make a big trade in mid season, I see at least four teams are final candidates (SPURS, Thunders, Clippers, Rockets)
If the author really thinks the Warriors, Rockets and Clippers did not improve he is dumb ... it might not be enough to win a championship, but these teams will challenge the Spurs immensely ... and Thunder and Grizzlies are still pretty good.

while it makes me feel good to read good things about the Spurs it makes me feel bad to read such a bad piece of sports writing.
and btw. Carles could have twittered the substance of his article: "Spurs will win, b/c all others didn't improve or will regress. didn't have the time to check it out, but I'm sure I'm right."

i agree with some points like how we are still snubbed and okc is in a hole some of their fans yet realize they are in, but some are stupid, like how iggy won't elevate the warriors
