Loaded except for the coach, tbh.... Payton wouldn't have choked to the Pats like that, imho....
I was fine with Rodgers winning the MVP in 2011, but Brees should have won it over Peyton in 2009. Brees had a better season.

this is true.
Rodgers was definitely deserving of the award that year with Brees a close second. Brees was robbed in 2009 by the typical Manning love, but he won the AP Player of the Year award and won the MVP award that really counts that year .... Super Bowl MVP.
Rivers wasn't great in that game either. But he had to deal with Marty ball too much which was the real problem. Marty always tried to play not to lose, especially late in games.
Marty ball killed the Chargers in 2004 against the Jets by trying for a FG in OT and allowing Kaeding to choke.
But Payton has had his choke moments too. 2010 at Seattle, 2011 at San Fran. Obviously Gregg Williams was the culprit in both games, but it still happened under Payton. Also in the 2006 NFC le game at Chicago, Payton went away from Deuce and the running game and let the Bears pass rush kill Brees and the o-line. And Payton did a ty job in general in 2007 and 2008. His play-calling cost the team quite a few games, especially his man-crush for Bush who got way too much playing time over Pierre Thomas. But Payton has become elite now.
My irony meter just blew up
Martyball also ed us in '06 when Marty blew a crucial timeout by challenging McCree's obvious fumble, tbh.... I've heard rumors that the day of the game, Marty was literally shaking with fear and needed his assistants to calm him down enough to coach - don't know if they're true, but he was such a pussy in the playoffs that it isn't really a stretch![]()
plus Rodgers isn't even a likeable person. dude seems like a and his teammates don't even really like him. just the other night Donald Driver was being questioned about comments he made about Rodgers (basically of him being a ).
Makes sense considering how often his teams choked away playoff games whether in Cleveland, KC, or San Diego. His teams had some awful close playoff losses where they probably should have won most of those games. He had teams that were 13-3, 14-2, etc lose home playoff games where they easily should have won. Peytonesque to be honest..
Brady's played like all year, he doesn't deserve to be in no 'elite 4"
it's Rodgers, Manning, and Brees.. but Rodgers is the best.
Who are you gonna root for it the Niners and Panthers meet in the playoffs? Both teams will be in the playoffs.
Go Niners!
btw, it is possible SF and Denver can go 13-3 and be on the road in the wild card...wtf? in the same year.
You could put the guy in any system anywhere at any time and he'd be just as awe inspiring as he is now. He's a fantastic talent. Borderline top 10...hmmmm?
1.Joe Montana
2.Peyton Manning
3.Tom Brady
4.Dan Marino
5.Brett Favre
6.John Elway
7.Drew Brees
8.Warren Moon
9.John Unitas
10.Aaron Rodgers

So basically the 2011 Colts?
College level supporting cast tbh
so from this thread we can deduce that Rodgers, Brees are system QB's. its already been established that Brady is a system qb and that Peyton is a choker. so the best QB in the league would be... who?
Big Rape
That nickname gets me every time.
He's about to single-handedly drag his team to a championship. That's GOAT-level stuff.
Rodges ability to extend a play coupled with his arm and accuracy as good as we have seen in football.
