Nice win by UTSA. Never dreamed they would be a middling mid-major team in 2013.

The Big XII just isn't a very good conference this year. It's still a mostly fun and entertaining one, but Texas is having a down year and is still in sole possession of first place. Bizarre.

Kliff was such a no-brainer hire, but I give Tech credit for having the courage to actually make it considering how young he is.
more teams need to learn how to think outside the box and hire younger coaches.
not saying that all of them would be a good choice, but many would be considering how below average most older coaches are. just because someone is 55 years old with 30 years of jumping around every few years coaching different teams doesn't make them the best choice.
