Which hasn't worked out so well lately...
It is part of our plot to takeover the world.
Which hasn't worked out so well lately...
well, get used to two more years of that... Pop knows what he's doing...
He sure thinks so...
He's not infallible, but since Phil Jackson retired, he's the best coach in the league by a mile, IMO
Duncan does that for people...
He didn't do that for Larry Brown, tbh...
In Pop's own words:
“We’re playing C-plus, B-minus basketball right now.”
The Spurs had only lost one game, it was pointed out, so they must be doing something right.
“Good fortune,” Popovich said. “Corporate knowledge. They’re older than dirt; they know what they’re doing.”
When it all came down to it, that three against golden state was an absolute must hit. When I saw him release it I had no doubt in my mind it was good and that shot turned out to be the game winner. How everyone on this board is turning on him after one bad season last year is embarrassing
FIBA sucks. Different and stupid rules. Not even a proper comparison.
One bad season? Dude hasn't even had a COMPLETE season in a decade... Please.
So Duncan doesn't do that for everyone... got it
What do you mean by complete? If you mean 82 games, neither has Tim...
...........
FIBA does suck. So does the notion that Pop is Tim's creation. Tim has a lot to do with Pop's success, and he's certainly the foundation of the franchise.
But you can see all around the league how easy it is to things up from the bench, and Pop has a 15 year track record of making extremely wise decisions.
Stupid comment.
Tim has played more games than Manu every year. Stop being insolent.
you were wrong and stupid, per par... deal with it
Nope. FIBA sucks. Without Tim we probably wouldn't even have a bronze that year. Stfu already.
why don't you make me, Spartan![]()
Nope. Tim didn't "make" anybody. You ed up and you got called out for it, deal with it, lil got.
Stfu eldumbo.
Without Duncan Pop woulda been out of the league the year after Dave retired. Tim makes everyone else look better. Deal with that, moron.
Make me, stupid.
Don't change the subject. Duncan is great, but he's not capable of making a turd team a winner. Ask Larry Brown...
Duncan couldn't win on his own outside perhaps 2003. Look at Lebron in Cleveland to see how important good coaching and FO is. Nobody is taking anything away from TD, but you don't need to diminish Pop to enhance Duncan greatness. They're both HoF on their own right.
