NBA Jam rules, that and Arch Rivals, best NBA games ever.
They would need a new game engine to get better physics. They just use the same just like Madden and people keep buying it.
mid-age people also play that:
How many more decades and consoles later will it take before they can make a super realistic crowd with real reactions? Seriously wtf man
Who care? I want realistic game action. I want a game where Howard cannot hit a ing FT to save his life, and where Kobe refuses to pass the ball to his teammates, even if you push the button to pass. I want fights in the game, to see Ron Artest knock Jeremy Lin's teeth out, see the ensuing carnage, the suspensions, that . a alley oop. I want to be able to put a hit out on a mother er like Lebron, have some scrub clothesline his ass on the fast break, get the suspension, whatever, just sweep the leg or something. like that needs to happen.
I agree thats the most important part, but I just noticed since I was there since the beginning of the Nintendo days that audiences were always re ed. I couldnt wait till the day you had a real life audience especially because it seems easy to design. For some reason, to save memory, they always go light on the work they put into the audience.
If you ever played the career mode on 2K13 - 14, you see there are two reporters cloned a few times, looking exactly alike and why does your dude always sound like a thug?
sounds excellent, too bad you're a genetic science programmer rather than a software designer![]()
I want a realistic game where it's actually possible to lose a game despite leading by 5 with 28 seconds left in regulation.
gotta give Stern/owners credit, i've read EA tried to do that with them as they've done with NFL and NBA didn't bite. Maybe they didn't offer enough, maybe they saw how crappy their Madden product is and how it killed off NFL 2k series. EA.
NHL '94 is the GOAT sports video game imo
not a hockey fan but I did play a lot of those 90s EA series with my brother. I loved the Maddens where the ambulance ran over the players. At some point though Trip Hawkins sold the company and they became the generic monster we have today.
lol i remember that in Madden 64. I would play with the Broncos and just press B-B-A on every offensive play..it was an out and up route to Shannon Sharpe and it used to piss my bro off to no end
OT but it's sad...i can't remember where i put my car keys but i still remember that left down left right down right left left right right will get you into the test modes for MKII on Sega. Still remember idclip and idkfa for Doom as well.
Good . That's the game that actually got me to start liking hockey. Still, I gotta go Tecmo Super Bowl for the top spot.
CROFL. Forgot that
I still have that Game track on my iPod![]()
It's possible. Just brick your free throws and allow the other team to get offensive rebounds.
So true
In 2K, first minute of the first quarter of an exhibition game looks like th last seconds of game 7 of the Finals when the home team is winning
WTF
I don't get that either, how hard can it be to make the crowd cheer louder when you're making consecutive baskets and going on a big run/blowing a team out?
Even when you make clutch shots the home crowd doesn't seem that excited.
That's what I'm saying. It doesnt make sense, I remember reading once about how making a crowd is the hardest part in sports games as it requires too much memory and takes away from features. At this point, with the level of technology, its just pure laziness to not be able to create an awesome crowd. One with AI instead of the generic dumb reactions.
Honestly, a ton of these NBA and NFL games have re ed features that are a waste of time anyway.
