I personally get irritated by the amount of bags who use that damn Samsung whistle for their notifications.

I prefer to have my phone on vibrate/silent 24-7, haven't used a ringtone for at least a year now, and I prefer it that way.

Word. But you gotta get past that. They always gonna be something that irritates but you have to step past that. You almost there. Just shrug that off like a bad coat.
