Yeah, I can count on one hand the number of birthdays I actually got gifts. But I never had a shortage of kick ass birthdays thanks to my friends. I think I'm still hungover from #21.

BTW, If you expect to get gifts, you better be GIVING gifts. The same thing for friends to make your birthday special. You have to give in order to recieve.

Me, neither. My birthday is 12/28, and by then usually everyone is broke.
Our birthdays are all crammed together.
Me 12/7, my mil 12/11, my sil 12/18, my mom's 12/30, our anniversay 1/27, my oldest's 1/29 and my husbands 2/20. Oy.
Starting in August, we're one a month until February...it used to be July until my dad passed away...
7/19 - dad
8/17 - daughter
9/11 - User, 9/25 - mom
10/24 - brother
11/22 - niece
12/28 - me
1/27 - son
So if I ever do something like that again, I'd have to *get it done* in either June or November.

8/31 my brother, 9/4 my neice, 9/16 my youngest. Then in Nov. 11/13 my sister and 11/14 my parents' anniversary!
I just buy presents for my brother's kids and our parents, but that's it. My brother, sister and I don't exchange and I don't buy for my sisters' kids bday because she doesn't buy for mine.
It's lame cuz my brother's kids are teens. I just send them a check and he in return sends my kids one. It's like why bother?
