So far this year, I keep saying the same thing: we missed our chance. We look bad against the top WC teams, who are way better this year.

Pisses me off that Pop talks about how OKC might have been in the finals last year instead of us: hey Pop, who gives a f**k? Sure, we got lucky, like most teams do who make it that far, and you f**ed up our chances in game 6 by sitting Tim at the end. Fact. Own it.

When he hangs them up, Tim can look back on a 4-1 record in the Finals. I'd be satisfied with that. (And hey, it's better than Tom Brady--so far!)

    Merry Christmas

Spurs looked like they were playing in their pajamas - literally and figuratively. Totally agree that Belinelli should come off the bench and play with Manu. It's a much stronger second unit that way. Green has to come out of his ty slump. I kind of expected a slump for Tim but for Tony - No soup for you!!

The Beli Manu pairing got blown out twice by OKC's bench so not sure how this is a good pairing against good teams... It's extremely weak defensively...

for me parker has been a disappointment this year. he routinely misses wide open guys to try his circus layups. his defense is bordering on nealesque. I actually thought mills brought more to the offense last night. this is not to say that mills should start or anything. but tony needs to figure it out. and maybe some tough love from pop instead of letting him be is what needs to be done.

We can always complain about RS but Pop always try to hide his defensive play during RS. Each team has its own head of the snake like Spurs; who is Parker. Usually during post season Spurs tighten up the screw on defense... say o to Clippers, Golden State, etc. Pop won't show that game plan during RS. Considering that we are not running on full cylinder, i will take anytime our record right now eventhough we always fail against play off teams....

This one's on me guys. The Spurs always play like against the Rockets when I attend games. I was there for the 13 in 35 debacle, and plenty of other games where the Spurs came into Houston and laid an egg. Well, I took an out of town guest and drove in from Houston for the game, and after the three passes to nobody and the Rockets shooting 68% for most of the first quarter, I knew it was deja vu all over again. Oh well, my guest enjoyed margaritas on the River Walk.

Sure. But when pop says it's an embarrassing loss, he's obviously not hiding anything. Spurs just need to wake the up! You can tell they're acting real lazy. Especially on the defensive end. It's like all damn we left another 3 point shooter wide open, lemme make a half ass attempt to put a hand up (Kawhi)

It doesn't matter if Patty is regular season fraud or not, as long as he gets us through the regular season. We don't have options for better PGs. Lately the playoffs have been the regular season with groundhog day a few times. Only in the last couple of series is it compe ive.

This season could be different, but you take the boat that will get you across. If he cannot carry us in the playoffs, so be it. That's better than folding in the regular season and not getting there.

They've made the playoffs every season since Tony, Manu and Tim have been playing. They've seen this film, they are just lip synching until it matters.

No offence, guys, but how the is Patty a regular season fraud (I've been reading this a lot on these forums) ? Even when he has a great game, and a helps the team with a high plus/minus, there'll always be one person that says he's not capable of playing like that in the playoffs. He's never been in a play off rotation before, and from what we've seen of him so far this season, he's played tremendously well at the backup spot. Unlike Parker, Mills has actually played well against proven playoff teams (except for OKC).

We've absolutely no statistical data that is indicative of how Patty would play in the playoffs. All this nonsense is negative bias.

I agree somewhat. Patty strikes me as a dude who will never be afraid to shoot shoot shoot. Playoffs or not. Now that doesn't mean Patty Mills will be a difference maker in the playoffs, I just think he is too small and limited in general. However I won't be surprised if he cans a couple big 3's, he can help. Just don't expect big things from him, no pun intended.
