Really? I didn't realize that...I thought his turnovers were way higher than last season...never occurred to me that they were the same level. Wow.

Assists are down for several reasons: 1) Tim's slow start, 2) Green's slow start, 3) Leonard's slow start. Mostly Tim's though, since the first thing in the offensive sequence is the pass to Tim.
    4) overdribbling and ball hogging

Overdribbling? Really? Good grief, b_d, most of the season the starting five were Tim, Tony, Danny, Kawhi and Tiago. Who among that crew is CAPABLE of dribbling besides Tony? The offense relies on Tony dribbling into the paint to either score or dish to someone standing somewhere to make their shots. That is the essence of the Spurs offense.

You know better than to accept conventional wisdom as fact, b_d. Plus, Tony still has the third highest scoring percentage of anyone on the team. Only Bellinelli and Tiago (I think) are ahead of him. Tiago scores from pointblank range and Belli is a pure shooter. Tony has to run the offense as well as score and defend. I think his percentage speaks for itself.

Hey man it's POP...... He has his faves for better or for worse for some reason.
I am under the impression that Ayres was guaranteed a shot at pt when he signed. To his credit he has gotten better but its oh so obvious what his ceiling is.
