Ayres gives good head? It's strange that a guy who was bench fodder for the Pacers who didn't even get a whiff or an offer from them comes in and in his first year gets preference over Baynes and even cuts into Matty's minutes.
Ayres has had some decent games lately. Now, it's sure he is getting a better opportunity which I guess has a lot to do with what happened in training camp and practices. Spurs and Pop were also high enough on Ayres prior his start with Spurs to offer him a $3.6M contract.

I was just going to say this, but you said it first...... THIS.
Worst hands in the league. I have never seen a player juggle/lose so many passes and rebounds. Dude sucks.
Well he has been good at watching other people rebound. Does that count?

This far along into the season, it's pretty obvious Ayres struggles incredibly against .500 teams or better. Yeah sure he can dunk against teams like the Bucks and Jazz and his terrible defense doesn't really come into light against those teams, but when the Spurs play a team that is somewhat good, he falls apart.
It's amazing that Pop hasn't at least tried to switch things up by now. Try Boner, Banes, or Thomas. If one of them can at least have some moves on the offense and doesn't sit in the paint for 10 seconds while guarding no one, he's worth a shot in the rotation and is a huge upgrade to Errors.
He really makes you appreciate Tiago since he's like the opposite of him.
