taking a few deep breaths would probably make thing worse sometimes imho, especially when there's a female majority in the classroom (like how it is in our class, and yes, I hate it because guys in such professions like ours always suffer the most from the national pussification). When es are the majority, the whole classroom is filled with the stench of them, so a few deep breaths of such stench would only drive my even harder tbh. Ergo I'd just think about things that horrify me, like death, flunking exams etc...
