Never been all that impressed with Netflix, and cable is getting too expensive and stupid.

What does amazon prime have that is worth watching?
I have had amazon prime since it started for the 2 day shipping, but they have actually made their catalog decent lately. Justified is on there, and some other series I do like:

I don't watch many movies on it or netflix, but they also had Goonies. They also have the Avatar: Last Airbender series, which both my daughter and I enjoy.

Another aspect is I do think the mainstream media is by and large liberal. Perhaps liberal isn't the right word, maybe more status quo and agenda driven. Even the people who interview Jay Carney or HNIC seem like part of a dog and pony show. I guess it all seems like bull , at least to me, so I mainly just browse around various websites. If the Ruskies were able to control their mainstream media, I don't think it's out of the question large sections of our media are towing the company line, imho.
Agreed, tbh.... though, I don't think Media is liberal or conservative, they're just all in bed with the government in order to get favors and access, tbh.... notice how neither side criticizes the President for anything other than the most superficial wedge issues, tbh.....

Bingo, the media doesn't stand for any ideals, liberal or conservative, just whatever the status quo is.

    TV

Charlie Rose (when he does not have entertainer guests)
Sunday morning can have some good stuff
    C span

CNN and the others have about 9 things going across the screen at once. A mile wide and an inch deep.

News online mostly. I get the Economist in the mail, but with work it's hard to get to all of it. Probably won't renew. My personal favorite though.
