What i am saying is both teams will be differentcome playoff time and it is a new game. the Spurs could not beat them earlier this year with both teams more like the way they will be in the playoffs, then this last game. Don't go jumping for joy after this result because it doesn't show much of anything, both teams will be different and it is really a shame both teams were not healthy to get a better guage on the teams at this stage in the season.

A couple 3 years ago when the spurs were beating injured top teams everyone was all excited because the Spurs were winning but the bottom line was they were beating a lot of injured teams along the way and getting a fat record. Memphis ended taking them out in the first round that year.
Sounds like you're basically repeating what I said in another thread but to make a different point.

Your point: Teams without their stars aren't the same

The reason for your point: Our team without three of it's stars beat theirs without one of their stars.

The Spurs a couple 3 years ago (whatever that means) weren't playing with Tim, Tony and a 3rd starter on the bench in street clothes, with their center and Manu on their first games back.

If it's not really the Blazers, then it's even more so not really the Spurs. You cannot have your cake and eat it too.
