NO....... Just no.
Unless Parker is hitting everything(rare), Patty is better than Parker. Moves the ball MUCH better, less hero ball, doesn't try to force stupid shots, stays in front of his man, 3pt shot 10000x better, and is 25.
If the Spurs HAD to choose one or the other in the off-season, the smart money would be on Patty.
But of course, both are best.
NO....... Just no.
guess we could get an idea of what they'd be at if all of them were healthy. How many games has Duncan won since the 2002 season?
uhhh... there is a reason TP is the player he is and Patty has been a fringe nba player for most of his career.
Parker joined the Spurs one season earlier.
P.S.
Just saw its from the 02-03 season.
You could have said the same thing about Speedy Claxton back in '03 Finals. But who was more valuable when it came down to crunch time in alot of those games? When it comes down to crunch time, I'll take the nononsense backup PG that can move the ball over a hero ball PG that is killing ball movement and missing shots.
Most of that is the result of Manu's long-term injuries in 2008-2009 and 2011-2012, tbh. Recall that Manu missed the remaining part of the season and the playoffs in 2009. That team was garbage and Enrique scored a bunch in our playoff round against Dallas, but we still managed to get steamrolled by the sixth-seeded Mavericks. In 2011-2012, Manu missed the first half of the shortened season, but got healthy by the playoffs, tbh, so it was okay, IMO.
Patty throws up worse shots than Parker IMO. He chucks up shots like Russell Westbrook, it's just Patty is a much better shooter with a better at ude
someone need to send the memo to ESPN
how many do they have now?
"The Spurs trio now has 525 career wins, also just behind Boston's trio at 540."
That was after the victory over the Suns; so now at 527 wins.
Damn, it's going to be tough for them to get that this season. Going 14-7 to finish off the season isn't too bad, but for one, our schedule is tough, and two, there's bound to some games where one of the big 3 gets rested.
Even if they don't pass Boston this year, I have a feeling that Tim will definitely be back next year and that Manu will also come back for one more year.
is the record regular season only?
Yes......they already have the record for most wins in the playoffs. Last year they passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, and Michael Cooper for the playoff win record.
Spurs will go 18-3 in their next 21 games
Thank you Tim and Manu
