I may be wrong but I think Nash just went through a nasty divorce recently where his ex took a lot of his money. I think that's mainly why he says he wants this money.

The OP is an excuse for the worst front office in the NBA the past few years. Now that Jackson is in NY, you can compete with the Bucks or Detroit for most inept. At least they are small market.
