If you're scared, go to church... I actually think we can come out with some fire to start the game. A blowout would not surprise me. I think we're the better team at this point.
eh, the ol' sports will be just fine

Actually, there's a chance he'll play. He's missed the their last couple of games and I hadn't heard of him being ready to come back, but I just checked and he's a game-time decision for tonight.
game time decision

Can You blame em. Their scrubs make everything against the spurs. Watch for lamb to drop 5 3s tonight.
i agree, we shouldn't be shying away from real compe ion. this is our toughest opponent, we should welcome the chance to crush em and take away a little swagger.
this team shouldn't be scared of anyone right now.
Good thread. All this mini-Pop bull talk about resting players, B2B, it doesn't matter, wait 'til the playoffs, the NBA, TNT, blah. blah, blah is just totally masking "I'm afraid to lose to the Thunder". They've won some pretty challenging B2B's lately. They've beat Miami, Portland, Golden State and the Clips. The Thunder won't even have Thabo or Perkins.
man, nut up. The Spurs are rolling and this is as good adversity as you can get.

Hater with the troof bombs...
I don't care if we rest players, or not. If we win or lose, it's not the playoffs so who cares.
I just don't want any excuses. We've owned the Spurs with or without injuries. There really is no room for excuses. Nut up or shut up.
Is it official they won't be playing?
noone here is afaid of the thunder, we are afraid of kevin durant paired with ty officiating. i'd love for the thunder games to be officiated with us like they are with the timberwolves. for some reason, they don't give him every call when he plays them. so yeah i'm afraid of kevin durant when paired with certain officials. he's untouchable
Don't hold your breath imo. They just signed that chump James in time for tonight's game; I don't think the 3 will see the court
"No one" but apparently the head of the snake, erhem Pop, is. He's going full chicken by resting his top players when he should put this fluke streak of wins to the test against a team on the rise.
TBH the Thunder are the *only* team that scares me right now.
It will be interesting to see how Pop handles this game. , he may still be undecided as what to do. Honestly, this has been a great streak for the Spurs and they have piled up the W's but there have only been a handful of really impressive wins against quality opponents. I know we beat Miami, Chicago, Portland, Golden State and Indiana decisively but those teams weren't playing there best BB and were dealing with injuries, fatigue and chemistry problems.
OKC would be a fantastic game and a challenge (OKC is rested and Spurs have been playing a lot) but in the long run, it probably doesn't mean much. I'm confident the Spurs will get the #1 seed regardless of whether they win or lose tonight. Continuing the streak would be nice but being healthy for the playoff means more.
So, does Pop play everyone and go for the win or does he play the bench guys (who have been very important to the team success as well) and still have a shot at winning? With a loss, Pop would get what he wants as far as preaching his mantra of always improving. With a win, HCA is all but sealed up.
My guess - The starters play but Pop doesn't run his guys out there for extended minutes to secure a "W". Most everyone's minutes will stay in the 20's except for Leonard. The goal isn't necessarily to win but to use this freebie as a chance to see different match-ups. A total experimental game. I'm cool with that.
You don't own , got. you and your ref reliant team. How many rings you got over there in OKC?
go for the W full strength. you can rest on the lal game, among others.
You all are 0-3, about to be 0-4 in all head-to-head matches this year. Not to mention the fact that we dominated yall with people missing.
BD personally cannot wait till your kind hide back under a rock once OKC runs roughshod over yall. We, the fans and the gentleman representing this proud young franchise, are simply superior.
I want the Spurs to play as if it was a playoff game. If the Spurs win tonight, in OKC, on the second night of a back to back, against a rested Thunder team, then the Spurs chances will likely be very good this post season. However, it would be funnier if it was our bench that did it. Either way, a Spurs win could provide some positive speculation on the post season.
Do you do live shows or is your material just internet based?
Superior how? Your franchise sucks major .
More recently we swept yall out of the playoffs. Shut the up and sit down, scrub. You are nothing.
