also, i didn't give a when the black guy got in a fistfight at the end... the result of that fight had zero impact on the plot and i couldn't care less if either/both died

Nicky Fury and Phil Coulson are both funny as imho. they're well worth their cast spots (unlike Maria Hill who's absolutely dog ).

Excellent film. Best of the Marvel movies by far, IMO.

just saw it; pretty good movie iirc. gary shandling has really let himself go, must be all that hydra he's in. and I do wish the nerds in the audience would shut the up. one got kept laughing at the stupidest or any time they referenced another of the marvel movies. we get it, you're a sucker. no need to announce it to the world.

I laughed pretty loud at the Wargames reference. It was funny because the young kids next to me had no idea why half the theater was laughing.

And to think the Russo Bros' work was mostly comedy - You me and Dupree, Parks and Rec, Community ... who knew they could make such a great action movie/thriller ?

Kudos to Marvel for thinking outside the box

I would put this movie on par with IM1 and The Avengers. Those are my 3 favorites.

Honestly a really ing great action movie. The pace was really good and the action scenes were the best of ANY Marvel movie including Avengers.

When I saw him in the preview , my 1st reaction : " a French guy with a French Canadian accent? WTF "

Not that I ever take the board members here seriously on recommendation, but the glowing support behind this one means I will forgo that trend and watch this movie sometime this week.
