I really want this game tonight. Don't want Pop to lose HCA after winning Coach of the Year.

I may not even be able to watch tonight's game in real time…someone invited themselves to spend the night at my house and they are not basketball fans at all. So I have to figure out if I am gauche enough to tell my guest that I want to watch TV while they are here instead of entertaining them.

If not (I'm a bit of a coward in social situations) I will have to watch it in replay tomorrow morning, and I'm leaving you, ROBDIAZ, in charge of cheering us on to victory!! LOL!!

Spurs dominate nearly from horn to horn, winning 108-97.

Can you just turn the TV and put it on mute? Thats what I do when that happens. I do get a little distracted though.

I doubt the Mavs will have yet another plan up their sleeves, so the room for improvement is much better for the Spurs. And I still think they did not like playing at noon. So we are winning this one and take a 2-0 lead in the series ...

Go Spurs! I fully expect Patty and Marco to go off as soon as they see that first 3 fall. Given the adjustments that Pop will make from game 1, it should be a good home win. I am curious to see what is Dallas's next defensive plan.

Well, I can give it a shot. Hadn't thought about that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Spurs probably come out a bit overconfident after winning a game they should've lost, and Mavs come out desperate. I think we're down by 5 or so at halftime, then blow it open in the third quarter and win by 10+.

This game is pretty much the series, tbh. No way in Mavs win two at home. I think it comes back to SA 3-1 and we close them out in 5.

Should be a good close game. Blowouts are boring.

Changes to the rotation are the only adjustments available to a coach?

Two days off in between games is just too long. The wait sucked! I'm sure our older players enjoyed it, though.

After we sweep the Mavs, the wait is going to suck, too.

unless he plans to play belinelli against calderon or patty against carter, i'd say you can't play those two against anybody and expect any defensive improvement. Meaning yes.

It is a response, the only adjustment we can make is to not play them or play them the same we already had.

Regardless of what we see tonight, there are many more adjustments available to Pop than the ones you listed.
