You have a better shot of leaving Spurs Talk and getting a life than the Spurs do of winning this series against the Mavs,,,,,,TBH.

That would be even worse, two years in a ROW OKC is out! IF they lose and we lose nothing good comes out of it, if they lose and we win well... The Spurs have a golden shot..

Phil Jackson never lost to an 8 seed because he regularly coached the best players in the league and never had to face an 8 seed like the 2011 Grizzlies or 2014 Mavs. As for his extremely asshurt comments toward the Spurs, he can suck a bag of s.

I know, it sucks but I was just trying to look at the bright side of a possible first round exit.

I expect the spurs to beat the Mavs. The Mavs are the easiest team in the west as a 1st round opponent.

So the Spurs having the best record in the league doesn't count for anything?

Did you really expect to sweep the Spurs would sweep the Mavs? I always thought it's going to be Spurs in 5 or 6.

Doesn't mean they are winning a championship. Only means they will have a game 7 at home in every round.

That should've been the case if the Spur's bench can make a shot

I have come to the realization that the series will be more difficult than everybody thought, but I am still taking the Spurs over the Mavs ... as others said, last year it was 1-1 against the Dubs and everything was doom and gloom after the decisive loss in game 2. Be patient and just watch how the Spurs will play much more calm and collected with less turnovers, as they do it most of the time on the road.

Imagine you gave up a huge lead to the #1 seed on the road in game 1 and responded with a curbstomping in game 2,,,,still on the road,,,,while the other team luckily came back in game 1 and folded like a cheap lawn chair in game 2 and now has to go on the road,,,,which team would you rather be?
Imagine you understood the game well enough to know you don't go on a 18-0 run through luck.

The Lakers last year spoiled some people. That series gave the false impression that the 1st round should be a cake walk. There's only one team in the league that's held serve on their home floor so far. It's not going to be an upset across the board just because a team loses at home.

The first game the Spurs are faced with their own elimination they will lose. Go back and see the current history of this core over the last 5 years, bad record when facing their own elimination. So no game 7 wins for the Spurs and the home court everyone was watching down the stretch and wanting won't matter.

Would rather have the Spurs had the higher draft pick then the home court.
We will watch every team draft ahead of the Spurs this year and good players go before the Spurs pick.
