midget, what side of town did you move to?
Was I the only one who caught this?
Dood, you gotta roll to that . . .
Thanks for all the welcomes. I will go to Chachos eat the 'chos and drink the margarita. There is no way I would rather be in Corpus than here. I will always have love for Corpus and the area since I was born and grew up there, but it's too humid, and nothing much to do there.
What side of town did you move to?
Hey midgetonadonkey, now that you're in SA did you know if you take 35 about an hour up the road to Buda, Texas, you can enter Guido Dog in the Annual Buda Weiner Dog Races?
This year 435 dogs entered and 25,000 people attended. One of the funniest things I've ever seen, and actually a great event to take young kids to.
BEST BURGERS....EVER. I haven't been there since in about 2-3 years but I'm sure they're still the bomb.
Absolutely. Take a pic with her, but don't stand too close. I want to photoshop my face in there and show people.
I'm living on the southside. My neighborhood is off of Steves Ave.
It looks like it missed this years, I will definitely take him up there next year. He will smoke all those other pecker dogs.
Have you driven any freeways so far on the northside? I asked because you said you're not used to this kind of traffic. Southside traffic isn't too bad besides 35 south of Downtown and 90 going west. All freeways on the northside are freakin' come rush hour.
Hey, that's cool. I was born and grew up in Corpus too. What part of Corpus did you live in.. did you happen to go to Calallen Middle/H.S.?
booooooo calallen
I actually was born in Kingsville and grew up in Bishop. I graduated from Bishop High School then moved to Corpus. I lived there for about 8 years before moving here. I agree with The Truth, booooo Calallen and Phil Danaher.
you move here with your family??
I moved here with my girlfriend. She graduated from A&M Corpus on Saturday and wanted to move back with her family. I came with her and left my Mom and Dad in Corpus and my Grandma in Kingsville.
If you two ever want to hit some bars or clubs in S.A. just let me know. I'll introduce you to some cool people.
Damn midget, do you ignore my questions on purpose?
I think I'm gonna cry...
Sorry I missed that one. I went up to UTSA for an interview Monday morning but it was around 9am so I think I avoided any rush hour traffic. I have to be up there again tomorrow at 9am so I might hit something wicked. In Corpus, I had a 5 minute commute to work along Ocean Drive at sunrise, so it will be a huge adjustment for me.
the only person that answers you is GiG, Writer.
How about the Great Northwest Interchange?
I love taking the I-10 to 410 East connector ramp and getting that wicked view of the city.
He, with his 1300 SAT, is the only one on your intellectual level.
I'll have to keep my eye out for that but I still say nothing is sweeter than seeing the sunrise over Corpus Christi Bay. The water is as smooth as a sheet of ice and you can't tell the horizon from the water. The only thing that seperates them is a thin line of sunshine, as if God cut the sky with a razor and let the rays of sunlight through.
