lovecraft is one of my favorites and really defines true horror.

and that's humanity's fear of the unknown. it's our basic fear. why we're scared of the dark, etc. we're terrified of what we can't perceive. what happens when all the laws of nature are thrown out the window? true terror.

As you know when it comes to the macbre and the supernatural it's the great H.P.Lovecraft and Poe. I have a first edition...The Lurking Fear...in mint condition, cost me a buck at a yardsale. Obviously one of my prized possesions.
