    It's not like Manu was just awful. Yeah, to the OP's point, he jacked up & missed some shots. He made some unnecessary plays, but he tied for 2nd in scoring (with TP) for the Spurs in 27 minutes.

    This was a nice team win with a stunning individual performance by Kawhi Leonard, the game 2 MVP. Nit-picking on Manu, tbh.

    Well, on one he stole the ball and gave it back on a wild pass.

    Why he cannot see that on a freebie like that setting the offense beats a wild cross-court pass is beyond me...

    He threw up a ton of bad shots, yes, but a lot of the shots he took were pretty open. He just wasn't on with his shooting, usually he makes those looks.

    Manu is way streaky, so we're lucky we managed to win how we did when he and Parker didn't really do very much. Our bench did what it does best, tbh.

    Manu has always shown tendencies to heroball and brick it, it's when he goes to the paint and passes that he usually performs his best for us on the offensive side of things.

    Regarding the shots he takes, some of them are bad, but many are because no one else wants to shoot.

    Parker 1 of 8 for first half -- no big deal, because he is doing other things to help the team.

    Please apply similar logic to Manu.


    The biggest difference- maker in this game was Kawhi.
