Donald makes that defensive front even scarier... all of them are first round picks (Long, Brockers, Donald, Quinn). the fearsome foursome is now the first-round foursome

i don't really see how can people say that the niners had a good draft, i can't remember the last time i've seen so many obvious throw away picks. Yes they got some offensive line help, and in theory the picks could be good some time down the line, but compared to the issues that are about to come, that's basically nothing. And LOL @ drafting another rb

Ward will be the nickle corner this season and probably starting safety next year

Hyde is arguably the top RB in the draft. At worst backup plan for Lattimore/Hunter who are coming off injuries

Borland will see immediate time with Bowman out

Having roster depth allowed them to draft high ceiling prospects in the mid-late Rounds.

    Yep. Base 4-3 you start:
    Quinn
    Brockers
    Langford
    Long

Then on passing downs/nickel D go:
    Quinn
    Willy Hayes
    Aaron Donald
    Long

3rd DE Wily Hayes has 12 sacks as a reserve the last two seasons.
Then there's DE Eugene Sims who had a couple sacks,20 tackles and a safety last season. DE Alex Carrington was signed away from Buffalo as a FA. He's got skills but needs to stay healthy. Jermelle Cudjo is fine as a 4th DT.

    DLine is loaded.

Michael Sam ain't making the final roster...he'd have to be like a God in training camp to crack this DLine.

Haven't seen a potential talented DL since the heyday of the JPP/Justin Tuck/Kiwanuka line in NY. Doesn't always mean they'll be dominant. May have too many egos and not enough grit. See: Carolina's front 7. I don't think the Rams would cut Michael Sam--the revenue making ability of having the first gay player would keep the pockets lined with $$ and that's the bottom line. It's the secondary of the Rams and the Sam Bradford element that will be key for the Rams.
