IMO, its not really his fault. In one of the ESPN shows, he said he has a stylist who actually chooses clothes for him to wear. He said he was embarrassed at some of the clothes, but had to do it to make a statement, like when they lose a game and he has to wear bright clothes to make a statement

Wearing gay clothes does not hurt Wade's self esteem. He's good looking and has a great body. Probably why he was chosen to do this.
