You cannot much when your team has been in 3 WCFs in 3 years and to the Finals in one of those. Some still think the Spurs can win it all if they were coached better or played harder, but a a faster car is going to win this race every time until all the other faster cars break down before the finish line at which point the 2nd fastest car who hasn't upgraded anything in a decade will putt across the line first.

this. first round bounce, second round sweep, first round bounce. thats when you got the feeling the big 3 era was over for good. these last three have easily been more enjoyable, but in the long run will be meaningless if we dont get a ring out of it

I still remember like it was yesterday... I was watching it with my friend who was a Spurs fan as well. We were both holding back tears of happiness when the Spurs were about to seal the deal at the closing seconds until it was abruptly taken away. The tears went away, and went shock set in. We sat there with blank looks in both our faces. The owner of the restaurant where we were eating while we were watching is a HUGE Kobe fan, and he got absolutely pissed when the Heat won that game, had to run out of the front of the restaurant and hold back from crying as well. It was heartbreaking for everybody really.
