Holy this board is like 95% losers.
The better all-around basketball team shall prevail, with an inspired Tim Duncan, only great things can happen. Go Spurs Go ! I want Lebron to make faces after we handle business , Spurs sweep the Heat.
Holy this board is like 95% losers.
- Forgot, Kobyz will be off the Suicide Watch list.
If he actually wrote that I would take him off ignore forthwith.
Kawhi takes his game to the next level, Tim turns back the clock, and Manu makes up for his past hiccups en route to #5
'Til the wheels fall off"
Interestingly, 12 of 18 ESPN analysts pick the Spurs.
Even Miami homer Windhorst (reverse jinx?).
Someone needs to start that thread.
Hard to do in 5 games.![]()
Ok, I laughed
Spurs win in 6 but 3 of 4 wins relative blowouts. Spurs at their best can blow out anyone even the Heat
Spurs are up two games to none, but are getting blown out by 30 in game three. Pop, pulls the starters in the middle of the third and brings in Joseph, Belinelli, Daye, Bonner and Baynes. They rain threes and win the game. Bonner is a +30. Bonner changes his nickname from "Red Mamba" to "King Bonner". Out of respect, LeBron has Bonner's likeness cut into back of his head.
Manu will be the leading scorer in the series.
Manu win the MVP trophy, so all the Spurs big 3 have at least one. If he plays like he did against the Mavs........
I hate to brag but I nailed these last 2 series. I said we would beat the Trailblazers in 5 because they played no defense and had no depth and we were a vastly superior team across the board. And I said we would beat the Thunder in 6 because we would never lose at home and would want to close them out in 6 rather than risk going to 7. And before game 6 I was telling everyone that we were going to win tonight by 5. We won 112-107.
We will sweep the Miami Heat. The first two at home are going to be blowouts. And then we'll go on the road and make SURE we win game 3 so the series is over. And we take game 4 because we want to win on their floor where our season ended last year in such devastating fashion. We are better across the board than the Heat. For some reason they're MUCH worse this year, despite only losing Mike Miller. Their FA additions this past year have been atrocious---Greg Oden and Michael Beasely, two bums that don't even play. And Rashard freaking Lewis is in the starting line-up these days. He's been washed up for years, and he can't defend or get a shot up over any competent defender.
Spurs in 4. We win game 1 by 23.
Here's how I see the Spurs chances...
Spurs in 4 - 20%
Spurs in 5 - 85%
Spurs in 6 - 65%
Spurs in 7 - 20%
Heat only win game 3.
Heat fans reading this, don't mind me I'm just a Spurs homer.
That said, to me there's a 80/20 situation:
80% chance we win in 6,
20% we win in 5.
Now if win either game 3 or 4, the percentages change to be:
75% win in 5
25% win in 6
If we don't win either game, then 100% chance we win in 6 just like with OKC.
