PAT RILEY
Then it is the lack of clutchness by Chalmer that is to blame.
To blame the Heat's performances on a ty role player is dumb, especially when you look over at Bosh and Wade who are definitely not anywhere near being the "superstars" they're billed as. It looks like LeBron in Cleveland out there with Wade as Hughes and Bosh as Jamison tbh...
Too early to assign blame, plenty of time for that tomorrow. Too many here forget the past. A ring is elusive when you're fighting the defending champs. Let's wait to see the outcome, because if it goes back to Miami, Spurs could lose faith and Heat could gain it. Here's to a Spurs blowout win tonight.
true, that's why the game tonight is a must win for Spurs, for both teams actually. If we lost it tonight we would have to come back to Miami fighting a Miami team which is replenished with confidence, and if we lost 6 again the series would follow the same path as last year. It's only the difference of one game between where we are now and where we were after 5 games last year, imho.
Exactly , how quickly we forget.
Chalmers is a role player, so no, he is not to blame. The Heat only go as far as the big 3 take them. Lebron has done his part. Bosh arguably hasn't gotten enough touches. Wade has been a disappointment, and should probably get most of the blame for the Heat's shortcomings. However, the truth is that thus far the superior team is just winning. The Spurs defense has come as quite a shock to those that don't follow the team closely.
chalmers saved lecheats legacy by elbowing the turd to the chest to save what wouldve been a sweep
You can't blame a spare...it's not on him to win the ring...it's on Bron, Wade, and Bosh..period.
Other than HCA since both closeout games were in Miami last year.
If Mario is truly to blame, then by default Spo is to blame because he kept playing a guy who wasn't performing. It's what happens when all of your eggs are in 3 baskets, and you need 5 baskets to get there.
I'm not gonna absolve Mario of blame because everyone else has sucked. He gets blamed too, along with everyone else.
Cole's sucked hard too and he doesn't have a lot of options with moving players around like he's had in the past. But he hasn't even really tried anything different tbh anyways.
The OP clearly implies Chalmers shoulders the blame imho, it doesn't say "does Chalmers share blame with everyone else?"
c'mon son
Chalmer:
"If that's an option, I'd love to come back with this team," he said, "But I'll sit down with my agent and my family and we'll go from there."
Acting like a hero when Bosh and Bron are acting non-committal on the return tbh fwiw.
