Prediction: Duncan will marry Vanessa Macias within three years

I was convinced of this after watching the Letterman show.

1) She is 33 years old and is past the sleep around / gold digger stage, like most other women of her situation, she is trying to settle down with a good man. She genuinely views Duncan as her idol/hero/SA icon and someone she feels blessed to be with, beyond the obvious financial incentives.

2) Duncan needs a bit more recovery time but Vanessa entered his life when he was at the lowest (28 seconds away from a le, divorce, being accused of certain preferences), and he will appreciate her much more.

3) I honestly felt Duncan was more passionate/aggressive this year on and off the court than any year before (the "we will do it this time" comment, aggressive dunks in post season, yelling at coach and teammates), some of that is knowing his time is limited, some of that is finding the fountain of youth from being in love again.

4) Seeing how well she gets along with his children, how he brought her to the Letterman show, how he did not show any sign of discomfort when Letterman referred to her as family I think it is inevitable. Duncan is not the sleep around type either and he will settle down once the wounds heal a bit more.

Precisely. No way Timmy is looking to get married to her. She is just a piece of tail that he doesn't have to think about for awhile while he recovers from the screw job his ex-wife gave his head. Sure she is around his kids. Where else is she going to be? People would have no idea who she is if she wasn't dating Timmy.
