Bucks ownership masking this as a coach hiring, but belief is that it's just matter of time until Kidd has full control in Milwaukee.

Possibility of getting Bucks 1st-round pick for Kidd is remote. Several sources believe deal gets done in 24 hours w/ a 2nd rounder, or two.

There have been worse coaches than both Kidd and Avery over the last 15 years in the NBA.
Larry Krystkowiak just to name one. But a slew more of horrible HC. Spurs are just spoiled that we have had Duncan and Pop.
Remember the Brown, Bass, Jerry, Lucas, and Hill carousel over 4 years before Pop came on board. Easy to get complacent at this point as a fan.
Kidd will be lucky if he makes it 3 more years.
Kidd is over his head with the Nets... He will get a grace period at the Bucks because of how young they are. Instead of re-tread coaches
who have failed more than once it looks like owners are willing to try youth and see if it works out...changing of the guard....
