Melo made his decision yesterday and will re-up for the max with the Knicks. The Laker rumor is just to throw Kobe and Jeanie a solid by acting like the Lakers are still a top draw destination by Phil and Melo. Laker fans are giddy right now thinking Melo and LeBron are on the way,,,,,not happening. Just think it through,,,Kobe making 24 mil/yr,,,,Melo offered max contract by Lakers at 4 yrs/97 mil(24+ mil/yr), Nash 9mil/yr,,,and LeBron is going to sign there? For what amount? Vet Min?
