Sure defense will probably keep him around, but superstar? Nah.

Scottie Pippen and Tracy McGrady come to mind. Andrew is going to get to learn from the best, so that should do nothing but expedite his development. He has all the physical tools to become an elite wing player.

He is and will be cheaper than Kevin Love for many a year. That's the main reason that "GM Poll" of only 12 GMs resulted in 7 of 12 or whatever it was saying they'd keep Wiggins instead of trade him for Kevin Love. It's because he's far cheaper, not because he's better.

Him being young helps too. . .that is, IF he stays. His youth doesn't help LeBron win now either. Assuming LeBron re-signs after 2, it's much more advantageous to get Love now if their goal is to win a championship, and not just to have a compe ive team after LeBron leaves/retires.

If you trust LeBron to stay, trade for Love. If you don't, roll the dice with Wiggins and hope you can make some kinda move next year while hoping Wiggins doesn't turn out to be a bust like so many 19 year olds are.
