As far as your spurs fandom goes, I would imagine that you're a rarity in the city of angels. Have you been to a game in spurs gear? If so, what's the reaction, typically? Just curious. You are right on the assessment of the food. I go for the memories, that's about it. The food is bland, as what you would expect from a cafeteria.
Exactly, same for me. The chicken fried steak was awesome back in the day but tastes different now. The two things i still enjoy the most there however is the tea and fruit salad.
I like the macaroni and cheese and rolls, but those are pretty hard to up tbh.
I go maybe like once a year and always get the chicken fried chicken. It's pretty good.
That plus the mashed potatoes with white gravy are the two sides i usually go with.
Depends on if the Lakers are good or not. If the Lakers are a decent team, the fans will give you crap. But you know it's hollow because they are Laker fans. If the Lakers aren't good, you don't hear a peep from them. Clippers fans try to talk with a straight face, but they know how ridiculous they sound saying anything to a Spurs fan.
Every Spurs game against LA for the past two years. I've met Leonards grandpa, my season tickets are near where him and his family usually sit. Very down to earth, just like Kawaii. I don't go in Spurs gear except for an occasional hat, it gets pretty wild with opposing fans, thankfully I'm up near the players so the class level is better. You'd be surprised, there actually are a lot of Spurs fans in LA, they just don't follow up with the NBA as much as enthusiasts like ourselves do. Ha.
Parents made it a thing for me too. I'll go every blue moon, if I'm having lunch with my dad. When they added those weird servers that refill your drinks and bring condiments... I never know what to tip them or if I should. I don't know what their wage is so that's been a big turn off tbh.
I woulndt sweat these made z mane. Most of em be on the computer all day on SpursTalk and porn sites. So they envy you not for meeting DG but because they don't have a clue what being outside socializing with beautiful women is all about. I've been in SA my whole life but whatever you do don't talk about oversize women down here. They'll take offense bro even if there not oversized themselves. But there moms, sis and girlfriend is so it's like guilty by association. (You see how the conversation shifted to Whataburger and Lubys, ha!).
