Real bowlers bowl in the Allstar League at Wonder on Tuesday nights.
Just an FYI.
Oh ok, thats why there are two regional PBA members on my team at 1000 Oaks, and one works the Pro Shop AT WONDER!
besides I like to bowl in places that I can stand up!
So have you heard from her? How'd she do????
two regional pba members?
Bro, all it takes is a check book and some bowling shoes to be a regional pba member.
Not impressed.
I've been wondering that all day. Update por favor! = )
Me too! Where's the scoop?
Well guys, Ill let her tell the whole story, but in shoet, they told her thanks, but no thanks.
I still am extremely proud of her for what she did, it takes BALLS to do what she did!
it sure does! I'd never ever ever in a million years work up that kind of courage!
and screw american Idol! She probebly got shafted casue Paula could sense her love of the Spurs.![]()
Hi everyone!! I just wanted to say thank you for all your support! That in itself makes me feel awesome! Here's the scoop for those interested in details:
I got a wristband and ticket Wednesday. Went to bed that night at 11:30pm to wake up at 3 AM. Got to the Erwin center at 4:45 AM. Stood in line until 7:30 AM when they finally let us in. (We were wondering why they gave us the assigned seating ticket just to make us wait outside.) Who knows. Anyway, we had to do lots of stuff for tv outside and when we got inside. We had to say stuff like: Simon, Don't Mess With Texas, Ya'll Come Back Now Ya Hear, Austin Rocks, We Miss You Simon, Yee Haw, and other idiodic things to say. By that time I was really tired and started to get y so I was not in the mood to participate much (like they would see me in the crowd) and I am a country girl, but no wonder everyone thinks we ride around on our horses down here. LOL So...after we got in we had to do more yelling and then we had to sing Deep in the Heart of Texas. They were about 3 or 4,000 people there yesterday. On the ground floor were 11 booths separated by curtains. When your section is called...you walk down, get your picture taken, then stand in groups of four infront of a booth. A producer and a couple other people are on the other side of the table. So, everyone can watch you sing, if you are loud enough they hear you, and of course the people in line behind hear you as well as the producers and people next to you. So...talk about nerve wrecking. Anyway, if you made it to the next round you got a yellow piece of paper, if not, you walked outside and your wristband was clipped immediately. So...Paula, Simon, and Randy were never seen. I already knew that you didn't sing for them first though. I wasn't nervous all day until it was my turn to sing. I tried my best though and had a fantastic experience!!!!!! I also have a t-shirt so...life isn't all bad. :-)
Well there it is... Sorry about it being so long!
One thing I did gain from this experience is confidence. Thanks again for all of your support!!! I really appreciate it!!!
sounds like represented SA very well Krista. well done!
We'll get you to sing for us Tuesday night at Brunswick. Wear the tshirt.
Karaoke is on tuesday nights at Brunswick, so if you stay after the meeting, you will probably hear her sing!
Krista, can you try out more than once? I seem to remember people trying out at different locations.
I could never try out for American Idol because they'd never let me bring my guitar!
They've let some ty singers through the past few years. You can't tell me those were the best singers. And singing in a crowd? How can they tell if someone is good or not? Remember Carmen the goat singer?
They let the ty ones through on purpose I would imagine. The best AI shows are the ones with William Hungites.
Son of a , now I have She Bangs! stuck in my head. .
No, I'm talking about the top 12. There have been quite a few that shouldn't have been there.
