Question: Why is this Rivalry game played so damn early in the day. I've very rarely caught it because in California it's such an early start. Is it to cut down on alcoholic consumption? I imagine if Texas played OU @ 5PM Pacific then more alcohol deaths, accidents and arrests.
It dampens down a lot of violence.
Steps forward and steps backwards...but at the end of the day there were more steps forward. At least they had a chance to win late in the game. No one would have believed you if you told them that would be the case.
Same basic trend if you look at the play.
We beat them up pretty good 1st half but were still behind.
2nd half they figured us out on offense. We still made some big plays but could not move the ball as well.
Then the D starts having trouble. Same basic stuff, but we are improving.
So much fun watching Ole Miss knowing there's a good change Bo Wallace could have been a Longhorn.
OU really crapped the bed in this one. They're supposed to be a juggernaut yet they may get left out of the playoffs.
Don't torture yourself too much. If Mack had gotten a hold of him, he was have destroyed his talent and not developed him.
Strong and staff has some pretty big F ups as well.
Get it all out there. It's not just the players that have more to do to get better.
Special teams are a horror show.
