    Being realistic, Lakers weren't in shape to play the game... Scott's running them to the ground right now to get them conditioned for the season, IIRC, they had a 2-hour practice prior to the game, which is why GSW looked so much quicker/better than them and why so many of Kobe's shots fell short.

    I don't think the Lakers are THIS bad, but they're 8-10 seed material when healthy.

    After I posted that last night...I did a lil' research myself. Saw a game the Heat lost to the Cavs 148-80 (68 points difference). The game was played on Dec. 17, 1991...and I figured someone for the Heat "had" a pretty awful +/-. But since the game was in 1991...of course they didn't keep up with that stat.

    BTW...on Dec. 17, 1991....SPURS BEAT MAVS!!!!

    They are 8th seed if every other team not in playoff contention sucks worse than them. This lakers team is a joke and I can only hope it's because it's the preseason

    People give Kobe more credit that is due. They think he can bring his team up, but he holds them down trying to elevate his own game. He's always done that, but in the past he had enough talent around him to buffer the chucking bull and selfishness, now he's the turd in the punch bowl.
