This should be good.
That was my thought when I saw the trailers last night.
This is the sort of thing that should have been on the bonus features of the DVD.
I would have loved them even more honest when Ginobili says he didn't cared coming off the bench and Tony didn't cared being held on the minute / scoring and thus not averaging 25ppg
Of course they cared
This is the real reason Pop, Tim, and Manu didn't travel to Phoenix.
I don't think that they did. There is a reason they are still playing for the Spurs after all these years. They know that championships are what it is all about. It's not just a cliche to them.
NBA to salute Spurs with 'Champions Day Programming'
http://www.nba.com/2014/news/10/21/champions-day-nba-tv-official-release/index.html
NBA TV will feature special daylong programming on Monday, Oct. 27, to celebrate the 2014 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs. The network will premiere three original programs -- Champions Revealed: 2014 San Antonio Spurs, Open Court: NBA Champions Edition and 2014 San Antonio Spurs: Go Spurs Go -- along with re-airs of past NBA Finals performances and season reviews from the Spurs' five le-winning seasons.
those trailer are amazing, can't stop smiling... just post the full version here once it's aired plz
Man you have to be an NBA subscriber on your cable provider right?
Yup, saw all of this right now when setting my DVR for Monday night. Was just about to post about it.
I hope open court makes an episode simply talking about the spurs winning the ship this year
Looks amazing. I hope it somehow becomes available to those who don't have NBATV.
You should post more often.
It's amazing how much younger Manu looks with a shaved face and a head full of hair.![]()
I don't know about Pop. That blue shirt / brown pants combo looks pretty good to me; it's reminiscent of earth and sky.
The preview looks weird tbh. None of them are comfortable facing the camera and Pop looks the most awkward.
I'm so glad the big 3 + Pop's story can finally be told in front of a championship backdrop. Sure, the Spurs won in 2007 but that was 7 years ago and so much has happened since then and many have forgotten how great these four were. Can't think of a better way for the Spurs to ride out their final year together. Without the championship, the media will just pay lip service to the retiring Ginobili and most likely retiring Duncan. But for those two to retire so close after a recent championship will forever ingrain into people's minds that these four are HOFer champions.
Pop asked Kawhi to play a few games in the pre-season and he turned him down and said 'don't EVER poke me again!!'
I've already decided to take a sickie and spend my day watching the NBA TV that day and then the opening day/ring presentation v. Dallas.
Counting down the days.
I came home and told my wife I was doing the same and she said "yeah I already figured you would say that, but you have to leave work early Tuesday for us to drive to SA for the game so I don't think you should." Always good to have a voice of reason
