Returning when the Bulls and Mavs are half decent enough for you to bandwagon them again
lol I just get caught up in playoff basketball. It's either pick a favorite or not watch the rest of the playoffs once my Mavs lose. But I am real excited about this years Mavs team.

even if the thunder were a low seed, if they were healthy come playoff time they'd be an absolute threat. the issue is, both Durant's and Westbrook's injuries are those with lingering effects which ultimately puts a limit on how good they will be in the near future

Rondo broke his 3rd metacarpal and had surgery Sept 26th, played last night. Chimpy will be back in 4-6 weeks fully recovered, imo

The Thunder will be back soon. Just wondering if their record is too poor to make a comeback to get in the playoffs with how deep the west is. You gotta win 50 games to make the playoffs in the west.

What hand did he break the metacarpal in, tbh?..this is a crucial factor if the broken metacarpal is in the shooting hand..

Does Meth make the playoffs tbh? Missing your two best players for a month-plus is pretty bad, not to mention all the other injuries.

    This is ed up.

Didn't want it to be like this, rogues. Want to beat you with no excuses.

Hope your boys get healed. I hate WB but it's better for the league if he's on the court.

    Speaking of the Lakers
This pretty much hands the Golden Chucker award (shots per game, missed shots etc) to Kobe

OKC will probably fall out of top 4 in West ... so one of the top 4 teams is gonna have a much harder path to the finals once they get heatlthy. this also gives Mavs, Rox, GSW a chance to snag a higher seed. I think west will look like this:

    1. spurs
    2. Clips
    3. Mavs
    4. GSW
    5. Rox
    6. OKC
    7. Grizz
    8. Blazers

If WB & Durant are both out just 4 more weeks, that's 16-20 games more. If they are out longer, obviously add on games. With an 0-2 start & no WB/KD, it entirely feasible that they have 20 losses by the time those two get back.

If that's the case & it takes 48 wins to make the playoffs, OKC would have to win at record breaking pace to make the 7th or 8th seed when healthy. They have to find a way to win 8-10 games over their next 20 to have a shot at the playoffs imo.

Basically, if you assume you need 48 wins to make the playoffs and lets say WB/Durant are both out 20 more games and OKC is something bad like 2-20 by the time they get back, OKC would need to win over 75% of their remaining games just to hit that 48 win mark.

2-20 is awful, but with their injuries and lack of talent, I don't think it's at all a stretch (even though that is worst case scenario probably)

LOL, I hate that prick even more than Mr. Softy ...

Im loving ariza and Jones on your team this year if both those guys keep playing well and Pat B's jumper is truly improved ...you guys are only a legit coach away from being REAL contenders. Howard & Harden are known you gonna get 18 and 10 plus 2-3 blocks and 25 plus every night

I think they could tear through at a 75% clip when healthy though ...most stars/team will have been beat up ...they should be fresh. But it won't be easy. They need at least 5 of the 20 ...
