Clowney was the pick if they weren't going to trade it. Everyone knew it was a draft with no true #1. And how come you don't support the browns anymore?

What does that have to do with the fact that you were salivating about his 2 or 3 sacks in practice and pre-season? Now you are acting like you called this.

Pretty sure he was widely considered a 'true #1' as well. And physically he is one he just happens to be a lazy got. There's always the possibility he eventually gets his together so I wouldnt call him a bust just yet though.

beginning to think this clown will go down as one of the biggest busts in pro sports history
Not sure about that son. Ryan Leaf, The Boz, and Tony Mandarich all were pretty sorry. He got a ways to go to reach their level of suckery.

    anybody remember this gem?

ESPN's Merril Hoge is back at it, would rather have Michael Sam than Jadeveon Clowney on his team

I mentioned....give things some time. Ok here it is pushin' week 13 that's enought time.

There are those who will lie to get back out there then those who will lie to keep from getting back out there. I'm starting to think Clowney is one of those. I'm beginning to wonder if he even likes football. From what I've seen he appears a bit aloof and disinterested in the sport.

Forget Clowney's lazy ass. Aaron Donald FTW.
    31 Tackles/28 solo
    10 TFL
    5 sacks
    1 FF
    DROY

Donald has been a monster. I think it helps to be on that line, but he's been as good as advertised and then some. He and Mack are the 2 top candidates for DROY right now, and they face off tomorrow

i had my doubts about Donald being a great player. tbh coming out i thought he was more of a situational interior rusher like Rod Coleman. not that it would be a bad thing.. but man he's really been great all around. hats off to him. hope he doesn't have a good game this morning though

Teams were scared off by his 6'1" 285lb frame as a DT, but he's so strong with NFL ready hands. Geno Atkins 2.0

I like Derek Carr. He could turn out to be the better QB in last years draft over the other guys. We could sure use a young QB with some skills.
If you guys can get the run game going tomorrow it'll be a good game.

i still think Bradford can play, but you just can't trust him anymore... and yeah i'm a big fan of Carr as well, liked him before the draft and like him even more now. I'm not setting lofty expectations for him, but I think he can be our starter for the next 5+ years, which is a level of stability the Raiders haven't seen in ages. when you keep reshuffling the QB position, you can never expect to make real progress

i just wonder if the Rams are going to be able to pay everybody on that D-Line long term while also being able to build their offense

Surgery will have him out 9 months

he's gna miss all of camp and preseason based on that timetable. per rotoworld:

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Texans OLB Jadeveon Clowney (injured reserve, knee) underwent microfracture surgery on his right knee Monday and will be sidelined nine months.

It's one of the worst surgeries and NFL player can undergo. What Clowney does have going for him, though, is his youth. He'll turn 22 in February. But setbacks are common following microfracture surgery, and it's been known to derail careers. Eagles OLB Brandon Graham underwent microfracture surgery as a 22-year-old in December 2010 and didn't play again until Week 1 of 2012. It's a real possibility Clowney misses the majority, or all, of the 2015 season.
