The expanded sw universe stories have nothing to do with these movies, they've said repeatedly they aren't canon and will never be acknowledged as such. If you subscribe to the theory that the MSM PC Police control then you gotta know theyre gonna cast a bonafide half breed (or mixed race lookalike) for any half breed's roles. It's not good politics or business showing the much more common result of half black kids looking full black. A hidden pressure to constantly diversify as much and as often as possible exists for the very simple reason that it sells.
